The shop

Four-twenty-seven Main.

Downtown Northport keeps a few things the same on purpose. A barber chair is one of them. A mirror, a razor, a person who knows what to do with both.

Out front there's a pole, a yellow bench and the name lettered right on the glass. Inside it's a black-and-white checkerboard floor and a row of old chairs. Come in and take a seat.

The straight-razor shave
